Sheets Of Rain

Should I stand outside with my bar of soap? It’d work for certain. Could I finish my shower before a bolt of lightening finds me? Good question. What am I doing up at 1A.M.? Listening to the rain and contemplating espresso, would I like a shot? Yes, actually I would.

I love the weekend.

All this deep thought is calming, making me lazy, inspiring me to go back to sleep, but if the lightening desists I may put on a wash. All I have to do is rise and get the hamper. On the way I might just stop off at the bed instead. Either way I have to get up and move.

Yeah, move…

There’s a siren in the distance that’s becoming more distant, nope, closer, nope, must’ve made a left turn somewhere, distant, gone, and my internet went out. Reboot. The ravages of rain and the thunderstorm… hmm, sounds like a band.
