Standing At The Ramp Kicking The Amber Waves Of Grain Out Of My Sandals Waiting for The Parade Of Cars To End So I Can Cross

That’s a lot of directions. Should titles be this long? Why not! Of course, had I written ‘why not’ with a period following it that would have indicated sarcasm. Why not. (And the spelling/grammar check doesn’t like it) Decisions, decisions on a lazy Saturday, me and a slice of cold pizza, while my grandson chillaxses in his room playing videogames.

That’s the life.

But enough time has passed since I began this and it’s dark, speaking of dark thoroughly enjoying the film noir I’ve been discovering through YouTube. Tonight was The Amazing Mr. X, a con pretending to be a psychic taking wealthy women for what he can. How helpless the women are! Then again when someone suspects something or the con goes awry because the record playing other worldly music skips and she notices, curious woman charges head first to solve the mystery and will figure out later how to overcome the bad guy should she bump into one or not at all figuring it out that is. Romance thrives with death looming and the men aren’t the superheroes being a half step behind the bad guy but there’s enough going on to hold you there till it’s done. In fact, I haven’t been disappointed by one yet.

Good stuff.

For me, the only man I’m thinking of is the little one fast asleep, no mysteries to solve, no bad guys taking me for my wealth ‘cause I’m broke, (I don’t have oak but I try to dress nice) I am looking forward to early morning, making coffee – yes I make a great cup of coffee – enjoying the beginning of a new day, and seeing that face when he wakes.

Does that make the lady a tramp? Ha, eat your heart out.
