February 3&4: Winter Has Returned

I knew siding with the groundhog was the best way to go. Our temps have been consistent 20s and 30s although some days later in the day (like today) it could manage 40 degrees still leaving us more winter than spring. This month, mid-month in particular, we could see temps drop drastically for a couple of weeks like way below zero and have a considerable amount of snow to boot. Stay tuned for that.

So, my grandson woke me and seeing it’s Saturday, as a rule not a workday, I’m taking advantage of the night though I’m reluctant to put on a wash and let the machine disturb the quiet. I’ll wait for daylight for that. I am seriously considering putting a movie in and falling back to sleep, but I do love the night.

I’ve a few dishes in the sink. Maybe I’ll wash them first…
