Day 9 Of a New Year

…Finds me up before the alarm with a hot beverage to counter a cold that’s trying to grab hold. Hopefully I’ll succeed in keeping it at bay. The only drawback of working with infants – that runny nose, that cloudy mucus isn’t necessarily teething, but without a spiking temp we’re all sitting ducks – can’t send them home and say ‘keep ‘em out for a day’. The other drawback is when the afternoon comes around even if they’re napping I can’t like in the comfort of my home.

I imagine I’ll survive.

Monday on.
